About Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine is the traditional medicine of all cultures and remains the most widely used system of medicine in the world today. It combines orthodox medical knowledge and ability with traditional and scientific knowledge of Western medicinal plants.
Herbal medicine encourages and adapts to emerging scientific information on medicinal herbs, their safety and efficacy. Almost any condition that patients might see their doctor for can be treated with herbal medicine.
Medical Herbalists are healthcare providers trained in Western orthodox medical diagnosis who use plant based medicines to treat their patients.
I completed three years training and 500 clinic hours at The University of Westminster and qualified with a BSc(hons) Herbal Medicine.
